The monthly Perry Chamber of Commerce Coffee event will be held this Friday, though not where they had originally planned.
The Chamber had planned on having the October event at Haaland Financial, but due to a scheduling conflict, Haaland will instead host the November event. This week’s Chamber Coffee will be held in the Perry Chief offices at 1316 2nd Street. Chamber Board member Misty VonBehren says the event will be a good time to see a building restored by one of Perry’s not-for-profit organizations. “Come out and take a look at the Chief offices, if you haven’t been there before. That happens to be one of the buildings that our local ‘Nudgers’ group was responsible for rehabbing. So another one of those great things that’s happening in Perry that you can see the fruits of the labor of the community. So we’d appreciate it if you come out (and) network.”
The Chamber Coffee will run from 8-9 a.m. this Friday. There is no cost to attend, and anyone in the community is welcome. To learn more about upcoming Chamber events, listen to last Friday’s Perry Fareway Let’s Talk Dallas County program at RaccoonValleyRadio.com.
