A town hall meeting is scheduled in Jefferson tomorrow to gauge interest in possibly establishing a youth center.

Freedom for Youth Ministries in Des Moines has seven youth center locations in central Iowa and they are looking to get public input about having a youth center in Jefferson. The non-profit organization held two Freedom Quest activities this past summer for area youth at Russell and Kelso parks with family-friendly games and activities.

The meeting starts at 5:30pm tomorrow in the Jefferson Library’s meeting room. Light refreshments will be served and the meeting is expected to last 90-minutes.
