The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.
County Conservation Director Joe Hanner will begin the meeting with a conservation department update. Then County Treasurer Marci Schreck and Stuart City Attorney Beverly Wild will discuss and seek possible action on a County held tax sale certificate. County Recorder Tristen Richard will also continue the discussion on new software for her office.
The Board will then look to approve the contract for the cold storage project and discuss a resolution to establish STOP control at the intersection of 340th Street and Ute Avenue just northwest of Stuart.
Finally the Board will continue discussion on the Transfer Station. The Board will review the station manager’s job description and process Main Street Guthrie Center’s request to waive station fees. The Board will conclude with discussion on reviewing insurance coverage through Iowa Community Assurance Pool and review appointments for representatives to the Compensation Board.
The meeting begins at 9 am in the Supervisor’s Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse.
