The Greene County High School Vocal Music Department is having their fall concert Tuesday night.
The treble and concert choirs will perform at 7:30pm in the high school auditorium. Director David Heupel says there are 46 girls in the treble choir and 56 students in concert choir this year. He points out the students will be singing challenging music to see where they’ve started the year and gauge what direction the rest of the year will take on.
Heupel adds that 13 students will also audition in four ensembles at this Saturday’s Iowa High School Music Association’s All-State auditions. He says those groups will also perform the songs they’ll audition for all-state on Saturday.
The concert is free and open to the public.
