Guthrie Co. CourthouseThe Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

The Board will continue the administrative and financial make-over at the Guthrie County Transfer Station. Station Executive Director Jotham Arber and Administrator Joyce Miller will address the Board, specifically in regards to tire and appliance fees. The Board will also discuss a pond outlet at Diamondhead Lake with County Engineer Josh Sebern.

The Board will then officially hire James Mink as the newest Guthrie County Sheriff’s Deputy. Mink has been with the County since August. The Board will also review the first quarter of the 2017-2018 fiscal year budget. The meeting will conclude with a discussion on Thursday meetings. Thursday Supervisor meetings are scheduled to begin November 1st, primarily for budget discussions.

The meeting begins at 9 am in the Supervisors’ Room at the Guthrie County Courthouse.
