The second annual Friends of the Jefferson Public Library’s Chocolate Friendzy event is happening today.

Co-Chair Bonnie Silbaugh says the event is one of their main membership drives of the year. Last year’s event brought in 25 new members and Silbaugh is hoping for at least that amount, if not more today. There will be six chocolate vendors that attendees can vote for their favorites. The winner will receive a chocolate-themed prize. Plus, recipes of the creations will be available to take home.

To become a Friend of the Jefferson Public Library, memberships are as low as $5. Applications, as well as renewals will be available at the door. Chocolate Friendzy takes place from 9am to noon today.
