The Panorama Panthers football team (3-6 overall) came up short against the West Central Valley Wildcats this Friday in Panora. The day started out well for the Panthers. After both teams failed to score on their first two drives, the Panorama offense reached the endzone on their third and fourth offensive possessions. Luke South had a hand in both of the scores, pulling of a 12 yard scrambling touchdown to put his team up 7-0, and then gashing the Wildcats defense for a 70 yard run and then finishing off the drive by connecting with Blaine Barber through the air as Panorama jumped out to a 14-0 lead.

The West Central Valley comeback began almost immediately as they responded with a 70 yard touchdown pass from Carson Wadle to Cole Arnburg. From that point on, the momentum never left WCV. They went on to score 21 more unanswered points. They relied on quick hit offense, receiving a 41 yard touchdown run from Brock Wolfe and two more passing touchdowns from 35 and 16 yards out from Waddle. West Central Valley won the ball game 26-14.

Both Panorama and West Central Valley closed their season with 3-6 overall records.
