Brandon Duff of Adel was stopped at the stop sign that was there for construction on the bridge in the 1900 block of Guthrie St., De Soto when he was rear ended by a vehicle driven by Clarke Davidson of Des Moines. No injuries reported. Damage to Davidson’s vehicle estimated at $2000.00 and $3000.00 to Duff’s. Duff was cited for 2 counts of driving under suspension, no insurance and failure to stop in an assured clear distance.

Nicholas Clumpner of 31792 Houston Court, Adel was cited for unlawful passing of a school in the 13418 block of 310th St., Redfield.

David Leroy McGruder, age 39 of 3827 8th Place, Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of possession of a controlled substance , violatin of probation and contempt-refusal to pay fine.

Nate Bandy of Adel was traveling north on I Ave when he swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle and struck a utility pole. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2000.00 $120.00 to the road sign and $2000.00 to the utility pole.

Jaimie Dean Embrey, age 23 of 1716 1st Ave., Perry was cited for driving under suspension at the intersection of Beaver Ave., and East 1st St., Bouton.

Adam Dean Deemer, age 46 of 1047 Kingsdale Dr., Waukee was arrested at 15205 Hickman Rd., Waukee for driving while license revoked.

Shawnda Marie Worthington, age 42 of 605 Omaha St., Redfield was cited in the 600 block of Omaha St., Redfield for driving while suspended and insufficient number of headlamps.

Elizabeth Beach of Des Moines was traveling west on 240th St when she pulled out to the left of the roadway to pass a truck, swerved to the left and went into the ditch, struck a church sign and then entered the field. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $10000.00.

Kendra Caceres of Frisco, Co., was traveling east near the 112 mile marker of Interstate 80 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $6000.00.

Edward John Winger, age 23 of 6917 Roseland Dr., Urbandale was arrested on a warrant for OWI.
