Tonight on the Raccoon Valley Radio network, we’re bringing you the “Meet the Candidates” program for the upcoming city elections.

If you’re wanting to learn more about the candidates running for mayor and council in Perry and Adel, listen to FM 99.7, AM 1310 KDLS starting at 6 p.m. The program will start with the candidates for the Perry City Council’s at-large seat. We’ll play interviews with Harlan Den Beste, Elizabeth Hix, Vicki Klein, and Ron Leber, each of whom are vying for the council seat. Following that will be interviews with the four candidates for the two open at-large seats on the Adel City Council, including Rob Christensen, incumbent Rebecca Hillmer, Jodi Selby, and Bryce Smith. Finally, the program will conclude with the two candidates for Mayor of Adel, Carter Nordman and incumbent Jim Peters.

As Perry mayoral candidate John Andorf and ward two city council candidate Dr. Randy McCaulley are both running unopposed, they will not be featured in the forum.
