Today is the final day to get in on the Perry Public Library’s children’s Halloween costume swap.

Children’s Librarian Suzanne Kestel explains how the exchange works. “It’s just a great way for parents to get rid of their costumes. So you bring in your clean costumes, we give you a coupon for each one you bring in. And then starting on the 26th, you’ll get to shop and get another new one for your child! So it’s like a cookie exchange, only a costume.”

There is no cost to participate in the swap, though the costumes will be first-come, first-serve starting tomorrow. For more information, call the library at 515-465-3569.
