Today the ACGC state cross country qualifiers will put their talents to the test against the best Iowa has to offer. The Chargers will race this afternoon at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge.

For the boys side, Noah Nelsen will look to improve on a 20th place finish at last year’s state meet. While defending champion Kate Crawford will hope to regain the state crown for the girls. Both Nelsen and Crawford will have some help. The boys team qualified as a whole and Emma Swanson and Lauryn Embleton qualified as individuals.

Both teams were sent off in style. Last night ACGC High School conducted a send-off pep rally with a parade also scheduled for this morning as they begin their journey north.
