Dallas Co Supervisors 10-17

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

The first several items on the agenda all relate to the new law enforcement center. There will be a public hearing relating to the authorization of a loan agreement and issuance for $6 million for work to be completed in the near future. They will also discuss a resolution regarding electronic bidding procedures and an official statement for general obligation capital loan notes. Additionally, they will discuss letters of communication with Piper Jaffrey, the firm serving as the county’s financial advisor for the project, as well as a participation request for the Adel eastern sewer extension.

Other topics on the agenda include: a fiscal year 2017 case management actual cost report; a public hearing regarding a road vacation; and a resolution for a property tax suspension. The meeting will conclude with a departmental workshop with the Sheriff’s Office. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
