The unofficial holiday season kicks off tomorrow with Halloween. With that in mind, Dexter Acts of Random Kindness (DARK) is hosting their sixth annual Holiday Raffle. The raffle takes place Friday, November 3rd at the Dexter American Legion with doors opening at 4 pm and the raffle beginning at 7:30.
Tickets are $1 each and are also available in packs of six for $5, 12 for $10, and 25 for $20. Tickets can be purchased up to the night of the event at 7:15 pm sharp. There will also be a 50/50 drawing the night of the event and winners do not need to be present to receive prizes. In the past five years, DARK has raised nearly $15,000 for local charities. The proceeds from this raffle will go to the Dexter Rural Neighbors Project and the Stuart Cottage Food Pantry.
