Dallas County Conservation is inviting the public to a special program this Saturday, where they can learn more about the Native American culture and stories.
From 6:30-7:45 p.m. this Saturday at the Kuehn Conservation Area, they are hosting a winter storytelling and campfire event. There will be a full moon out that night, which should serve as an ideal backdrop for stories about fantastic journeys, cautionary tales, and how things came to be. It’s likely to be cold this weekend, so attendees are reminded to wear some extra layers and bring a blanket to sit on or for extra warmth. Registration is required for the event as space is limited.
For more information or to register, call the Conservation Board at 515-465-3577.
