logo-Iowa-DNRThe Iowa Department of Natural Resources is in the midst of the fall hunting seasons. However, the DNR is encouraging those who may think it’s too late to take a shot. Officials recently launched their “Let’s Go Hunting” campaign to encourage more people to try hunting for the first time or get back into hunting. The campaign is also encouraging passionate hunters to share their favorite pastime with a beginner.

The campaign includes videos that showcase the reasons people hunt, along with a web page and social media photo contest. The campaign also promotes hunter education, the apprentice license, and other hunting-related links and applications. Campaign partners include: the National Turkey Federation, Pheasants Forever, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Whitetails Unlimited.
