A Democratic gubernatorial candidate will make her way to Guthrie Center next weekend. Cathy Glasson and Iowa Citizen for Community Improvement Political Action Fund (CCI PAC) will host a town hall at the Mary J Barnett Memorial Library Saturday, November 11th from 12-1:30 pm.

This stop is part of a tour taking Glasson from Waterloo to Mason City. The event is free and open to the public, with no advanced registration required. Her action plans include: raising the minimum wage to $15, expanding employee union rights, and universal healthcare. Glasson is currently a nurse and president of a local Service Employees International Union Chapter. Glasson is now the seventh Democratic candidate to declare candidacy for Iowa’s gubernatorial race.
