IMG_1645This weekend Panorama High School will perform its production of Into the Woods Jr. The show runs Friday and Saturday at 7 pm with a Sunday matinee at 2 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $3 for students and $5 for adults. The musical tells the story of a baker, his wife, and their magical quest through a forest of classic characters.

Director Deb Arganbright describes the process of selecting the musical. “We were really looking for a show with quite a few female leads because we have some strong female singers this year that are juniors and seniors.”

The musical features characters from: Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and other fairy tales. The performance is modified from the original and lasts just over an hour.
