Edward Swinger of 29805 El Paso Ave., Redfield reported the theft of a battery out of his John Deere tractor.

Michael David Schmidt, age 37 of 333 Leach Ave., Des Moines was arrested in the 15000 block of Highway 141 Diagonal for unlawful possesstion of prescription drugs and driving while license suspended.

Trina Antoinette Berry, age 48 of 6901 SE 14th St., Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for theft.
