Greene County High School juniors and seniors recently attended the Iowa Central Community College Career Day event. Nineteen students learned about what employers are looking for in employee, while improving interviewing skills with examples of meeting with professionals in various occupations.

Greene County sixth graders got the opportunity to work on a project as part of the Next Generation Science Standards. Students had to make a model to describe the cycling of Earth’s materials and the flow of energy that drives the process. They studied the process of convection, and wrote about their knowledge of it.
