A few students at West Central Valley are taking the off-season opportunity to increase school spirit through artwork. The past few weeks, students have painted the walls of West Central Valley with wildcat paws and other Wildcat artwork.

Art teacher Marcus Claire is encouraged by the students’ display of school spirit throughout the building. These displays are part of a overhaul for display and graphic changes coming to the school district. In September the Board approved moving forward with updating the athletics website, improving the school logo, and implementing banner displays throughout the district. The Board also approved a plan to rename the gymnasium after long-time head coach and teacher Jeff Pease.
