The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

The Board will begin by examining Iowa Insurance Division settlement funds from the Iowa Governmental Health Care Plan (IGHCP) and Two Rivers Insurance. The Board will also look to purchase a truck from the Adair & Guthrie County Emergency Management Agency for county custodians. Other action items include: approval and signing of the Avesis application for vision care benefits for county employees, installing a telephone line for the Guthrie County Coordinator of Disability Services office, and County Compensation Board representative appointments.

The Board will also meet Thursday. County Transfer Station Executive Director Jotham Arber will continue discussions with the Board on the Transfer Station Action Plan. Both meetings take place in the Board of Supervisors’ Room at the Guthrie County Courthouse at 9 am.
