Three former Greene County High School wrestlers are on the Central College (Pella) roster. Jordan Challen is listed at 149 lbs. with Jeremy Scheuermann at 174 lbs. and Hunter Ruth at 285 lbs.

Challen went 23-12 for the Dutch last season and was 30-21 through his first two seasons. A junior, Challen placed fifth among 25 men in the 149 lbs. weight class last Saturday at the Millikin Open at Decatur, IL. With the Rams, Challen qualified for three State tournaments, placing as high as fourth.

Scheuermann, also a junior, went 21-14 in his first two seasons with the Dutch. While in high school, he twice qualified for State tournaments and placed eighth once.

Ruth is a freshman and is an under sized heavyweight. In high school, he qualified for two State tournaments, and was the Rams only State qualifier a season ago.

The Dutch are ranked number 15 in NCAA DIII to begin the season. They open the dual meet season in Cedar Rapids tonight vs. Coe College, then travel to Minneapolis this Saturday for the Augsburg Adidas Open.
