The Thanksgiving holiday will cause several changes this week in the City of Perry.

The City offices, water works, and the McCreary Community Building will all be closed both Thursday and Friday in observance of the holiday. The post office and banking institutions will be closed Thursday, but not Friday. Additionally, the Perry Public Library will close early at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and will be closed Thursday and Friday.

There will also be changes to the garbage and recycling pick up times this week. The residential routes scheduled for both Thursday and Friday will be picked up on Wednesday. Additionally there will be no yard waste pick up on Wednesday, but it will be picked up the following week. Anyone with questions can call Perry City Hall at 515-465-2481.
