The annual Perry Festival of Trees has officially commenced and will run from now until December 29th.
The display features an assortment of trees decorated by local businesses and organizations, displayed at the Carnegie Library Museum. The free event isn’t meant to be a big fundraiser for the library, but rather it serves as a popular holiday event for the community and a showcase for the building. That said, there are ways people can donate to the library during the Festival of Trees, the first being the donation box near the entrance. The other way is to vote on your favorite tree. Attendees can cast their ballot, and they can add a donation with their vote.
All proceeds raised will go toward Hometown Heritage and the Carnegie Library for programs and maintenance.
