Raccoon Valley Radio kicked off our Caring Christmas Food Drives last week for the holiday season.

As we enter our second week, Big Red and Lil’ Big Red Radios will be in full force in several of our communities. Big Red Radio can be seen Monday from 3 to 5pm at the Adel Fareway, as well as Wednesday at McDonald Chrome Shop in Jefferson from 1 to 3pm and Jefferson Fareway from 4 to 6pm. Lil’ Big Red Radio will be at Perry Hy-Vee Wednesday from 4 to 6pm.

Raccoon Valley Radio puts on the Caring Christmas Food Drives to help support our local food pantries with either non-perishable food items or monetary donations. The food that is collected in each community is donated to that community’s food pantry. Plus, anyone who donates to the food drive will have their name entered into a drawing to win $1,000 from Raccoon Valley Radio’s Christmas Cash Giveaway.
