The Adair-Casey and Guthrie Center School boards will meet in a joint session Tuesday. The Guthrie Center School Board will hold their regular meeting following the joint session. Guthrie Center Curriculum Director Karla Mahaffey will begin the meeting with a presentation on academic data scores. Following a discussion on enrollment, Heartland Area Education Agency Director of Leadership Supports Jim Verlengia will lead a discussion on joint meetings. The joint portion of the meeting will conclude with administrative reports.

The Guthrie Center School Board will then meet for the regularly scheduled meeting. The Board will discuss the following items: reinstatement of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurer fee, School Budget Review Committee requests, the Iowa Association of School Boards Convention, and other various policy discussions. Both meetings will take place in the Junior High library in Adair, starting at 7 pm.
