Dallas Co Supervisors 10-17

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

The Board will be holding a public hearing for the third and final reading of the pioneer cemetery ordinance at 9:15 a.m., and the public is encouraged to weigh in on the topic. They will then hold further discussion on county participation in the Adel eastern sewer extension project, which would provide sanitary sewer service to the new law enforcement center. Next, the Supervisors will review tax credit applications for disabled veteran homestead, family farm, and homestead military cases. Other items on the agenda include: consideration of a resolution for utility valuations; a Sheriff’s Office vehicle request; the approval of TIF forms; and Board appointments for the County Conservation Board and eminent domain. The meeting will conclude with an exempt session to discuss negotiations strategy.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
