The Perry Public Library’s Monthly Book Club meeting will be held tomorrow afternoon.

Library Director Mary Murphy says there was unfortunately a misprint in the publicity for the event, where the wrong book was listed. The book for this month is actually “Hillbilly Elegy” by J.D. Vance, and copies of the book are available at the library. Murphy says the book club is always entertaining, even if it sometimes deviates from the topic. “If you haven’t joined our group, it’s a very interesting time. So we do talk about the book, and we talk about lots of other things too that the book brings. We talk about a lot of social commentary. So interesting discussions!”

The meeting will be held tomorrow in the Clarion Room at Perry City Hall at 1 p.m. There is no cost to participate and newcomers are always welcome. For more information, contact Murphy at 515-465-3569.
