A fundraiser will help a good cause and make for a great holiday keepsake tomorrow in Jefferson.

The Animal Protection and Education (APE) Agency in Paton is hosting a “Santa Paws” event at the Greene County Community Center Saturday. From 1 to 3pm, pets and their owners can have their pictures taken with Santa Claus for $20. All pictures will be sent to the pet owner’s email address so they can print the pictures at a location of their choice.

The proceeds from the event will go toward APE’s continuing effort to provide low cost spay and neuter clinics, as well as vaccinations and microchipping in Greene County and the surrounding area.

No pre-registration is required for the come-and-go event.
