Panorama took both the girls and boys games in last nights doubleheader against West Central Valley in Panora.
The girl’s contest started out competitively. With 45 seconds left in the first half, West Central Valley scored a bucket to tie the game at 25-25. From there Panorama took control, Scoring 8 points before the end of the half, and then 14 more unanswered points to begin the third quarter. The Panthers cruised to a 75-35 victory, as Junior Guard Bailey Beckman led all scorers with 24 points.
The Panorama Boys won their game 64-52 in a competitive physical contest. The Panthers led 38-26 at halftime and kept a double-digit lead for most of the second half. Offensively the Panthers got a big day from Junior Gracen Welburg, who finished with 31 points.
Panoramas Boys and Girls teams will play road games against IKM-Manning Saturday Afternoon. Both West Central Valley teams also have away contests against Ankeny Christian Academy.
