The office of Iowa’s U.S. Senator Joni Ernst is seeking Iowa college students and recent graduates for internship opportunities in her Washington D.C. and Iowa offices for next spring.

Internship experiences allow those interested in the political process to gain experience in public policy, communications, constituent services, and other areas. Selected interns will carry a wide range of responsibilities, including assisting constituents and attending local events. Specifically in the Washington office, interns will learn about the legislative process and give tours of the U.S. Capitol.

Senator Ernst currently serves on four committees including: Armed Services; Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry; Environment and Public Works; and Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
