Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is spreading Christmas cheer with some fun for local youth. Extension will be hosting “Get Your Elf On” from 5-7pm on Tuesday at the Adair County Fairgrounds 4H/FFA Center. The event is free and open to children from toddlers to 8-years-old, as well as their families. There will be several “Make & Take” homemade craft projects, where participants can create personalized gifts for the holidays.

There will also be holiday games, activities, and four raffle opportunities to win large family fun baskets. The themed-baskets include: family movie night, family game night, family fun snacks, and family dinner baskets. A meal consisting of taco or potato soup, ham sandwiches, veggie sticks, desserts, and drinks will also be provided, and each child will go home with a new story book.
