ADM Tigers

Nearly a quarter of the offense generated by the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers boys basketball team (2-2 overall) has come from the free throw line. The Tigers currently rank second in the Raccoon River Conference with 85 free throws attempted and 57 made free throws. Only the Carroll Tigers have tried (88) and converted (61) more free throws than ADM.

A pair of ADM guards rank in the top five in the conference in free throws made. Senior Rylan Heffernan has the third most free throws made in the RRC with 16 makes in 21 attempts. Junior Koby Hardcastle is one made free throw behind Heffernan for fourth place. The Tiger’s free throw percentage has been above 65 percent in three of the four games this season. ADM is converting nearly 75 percent of their free throw attempts at home (29-39), including making 80 percent of their free throw attempts (16-20) in Friday’s 63-45 loss to Winterset.
