A former Adel-Desoto-Minburn graduate whose college football career ended last month is being recognized for his work in the classroom.
Jordan Grove, a 2013 ADM graduate, is finishing up his undergraduate degree in Corporate Finance at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. Grove was one of five Bearcat football players who earned academic all-conference honors for the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA). Grove was one of four Northwest Football players to be named MIAA Scholar-Athletes for maintaining a 3.50 GPA while also being named an all-conference performer. Grove maintained a 3.84-grade point average while starting for the Bearcat football team.

The Raccoon Valley Radio Network caught up with Grove last month during his senior day football game and shares he’s not done with schooling just yet. “So I’m graduating in December, and then I’m starting my (Masters in Business Administration) here in January, so I still have a little more time here in Maryville.”

Grove collegiate football career featured 2,622 all-purpose yards and 24 total touchdowns. He helped Northwest to a 64-5 overall record in his five seasons in Maryville, winning the 2013, 2015, and 2016 Division II National Championship.
