Last Saturday, choirs and musicians from Guthrie Center’s community churches gathered at Guthrie Center United Methodist Church for the “Sounds of Christmas” concert. Representatives from the First Christian and First Presbyterian churches were among the vocalists featured in the concert. For these two churches, the festivities continue. The churches will collaborate for a live Nativity performance this Sunday at the Guthrie Sale Barn, starting at 4 pm.

Participants in the event are encouraged to bring food and paper products for donations to the local food pantries. The event is free and open to the public.
