This past Saturday marked the last regular season game for the Grand View Women’s basketball team before the Christmas holiday. The Vikings welcomed the Pride of Clarke University to Des Moines for a Heart of America Athletic conference matchup. Grand View came away with a convincing 77-60 victory. Junior Bailee Arnburg, a 2015 West Central Valley alum, was a factor in the win. Arnburg’s stat line featured eight points, five rebounds, and five assists versus Clarke University. Arnburg currently ranks second on the Vikings basketball team with 123 points scored this winter, an average of 10.3 points per game.

The victory is the second straight for the Grand View Women’s basketball team, improving their record to 6-6 overall. The Vikings resume their season on Friday, December 29, competing in the Fairfield Inn and Suites Classic in Bellevue, Nebraska.
