A record-breaking performance Tuesday night in Carroll helped the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers girls basketball team (3-6 overall) to another Raccoon River Conference victory. ADM made arguably their longest league road trip of the season for a battle for Tigers on the hardwood. Behind a career-high 21 points from junior Emma Jacobsen, ADM left Carroll with a 58-45 victory.
Jacobsen’s offensive performance included five made three-point baskets, breaking ADM’s school record for three-point baskets made in a single game. Sophomore Abbie Hlas chipped in 12 points, while sophomore Delaney Bertman added 10. The win marks the third victory for ADM in the last nine days, improving their overall record to 3-6 and their conference record to 2-2. The Tiger girls basketball team resumes their season at home tomorrow night against the Pella Little Dutch.
