Perry sophomore guard Molly Lutmer could always shoot the ball.  She proved last year to be a deadly spot up shooter from the outside pacing the Jayettes from behind the 3-point line.  This year she knew she had to add a new element to her offense due to the graduation of several key players off last year’s squad.

“I really worked hard in the offseason on creating my own shot off the dribble.  Last year I would get the ball in great position to shoot but this season I knew I would have to do more to be able to get my shots off.  I would say that is the biggest area that I have improved in,” smiled the soft spoken sophomore.t

Lutmer is averaging 14 points per night and closed out the December schedule with a 25 point explosion against Ogden.  The Jayettes return to the hardwood January 5th with a home game against Ballard.
