It may be hard to think about spring sports with snow on the ground, but soccer clubs are beginning registration here in Guthrie County. The West Central Valley Soccer Club is currently accepting player registration.

Parents can register their children online or by mail by Sunday, January 21st. There will be a $5 late fee for any children who register after the deadline. The club is part of the Greater Des Moines Junior Soccer League, which is a level three league comprised of teams from about forty communities.
