ACGC junior Blaine Beeler has reached the pinnacle of consistency. Beeler secured his 100th win of his career during the Kuemper Catholic Duals on Saturday. Beeler also completed another tournament going undefeated.

Beeler won his first match of the day by fall over Storm Lake’s Sumay Oh at two minutes flat. Beeler’s other win by match result came over Missouri Valley’s Zayne Carrier by fall at 5:48. Beeler’s other three matches were won by forfeit, propelling his record up to 27-6 on the season.

Junior Easton Benson and Freshman Seth Danker won four of their five matches. Benson lost the first match against Storm Lake’s Bradley Brown by fall at 1:37. However, he won the remaining four matches, two by fall and two by major decision, to improve his record to 19-3 overall. Unlike Benson’s first match, Danker defeated his first opponent, Storm Lake’s Carter Shima, by fall at 4:32. Danker then lost his next match to Kuemper Catholic’s Benjamin Schmitz by a 7-0 decision. Danker benefited from a fall, major decision, and victory by forfeit to move up to 24-7 on the season.

Of the ten Charger wrestlers, only two finished under 500 on the day. The Chargers secured dual wins over host Kuemper Catholic (42-33), Johnston JV (42-33), and Audubon (42-24). The Chargers lost to Storm Lake (45-30) and Missouri Valley (58-21).  The Chargers next hit the mats tomorrow for a home triangular against Greene County and South Central Calhoun.
