The struggles inside the Raccoon River Conference returned Tuesday night for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers boys basketball team (3-11 overall). The Tigers paid a visit to Winterset for the second and final regular-season meeting against the rival Huskies. Tied at 21 entering the halftime locker room, Winterset outscored ADM, 40-30, in the second half for a 61-51 victory. Junior Koby Hardcastle tallied a team-best 21 points, while senior Rylan Heffernan added 17 in the setback. The loss drops ADM’s overall record to 3-11 and they’re winless in nine Raccoon River Conference games this winter. The Tigers resume their season Friday in a Raccoon River Conference road matchup against the Perry Bluejays.
