A busy week of competitions continues tonight for the West Central Valley basketball teams. The Wildcats welcome the CAM Cougars to Stuart for a nonconference varsity doubleheader. Today marks the second of four potential home games in a row for West Central Valley. The Wildcats homestand opened Tuesday as West Central Activities Conference member Van Meter visited Guthrie County for a league doubleheader. West Central Valley was on the short end of both results, falling in the girl’s contest, 54-42, and the boys game, 100-38. Both Cougar basketball teams bring overall records above .500 with them to Stuart tonight. The Cougar girls basketball team stands at 12-4 overall, while the CAM boys basketball team is 10-3 overall. The varsity girls game tips off at 6 p.m. tonight, and the boys will follow from West Central Valley High School in Stuart.
