Tyson Incident 2

Don’t forget, tomorrow there will be a benefit dinner at the Perry Elks Lodge to support two Tyson Foods employees who were injured in December.

On December 4, 2017, Aaron Francis and Andrew Stringer suffered severe steam burns all over their bodies in a workplace accident. Both had to be flown by air ambulance to the University of Iowa Burn Treatment Center in Iowa City. To help the two men and their families on their road to recovery, the Elks Club is hosting a pulled pork dinner tomorrow from 5-8 p.m. In exchange for donations, attendees can partake in pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, chips, and drinks. All proceeds will go towards the Francis and Stringer families.

Additionally, if you would like to donate desserts or salads for the event, contact the Elks Lodge at 515-465-3791. The items will need to be delivered to the Lodge by 3 p.m. tomorrow.
