Last Saturday, the Guthrie County Cattlemen’s Association celebrated 50 years with their annual dinner. The event was successful to say the least. A record 375 attendees packed the Guthrie County Fairgrounds Event Center in Guthrie Center. At the end of the night, the annual trophy auction raised $23,795.
The dinner also served as an opportunity to commemorate the past 50 years by inviting past presidents and Beef Queens. It was also a time to look forward as Adair’s Paige Caltrider was crowned the 2018 Beef Queen, while Guthrie Center’s Chelsea Larsen received the Beef Princess title. Four graduating seniors were also awarded scholarships.
