Another season of West Central Valley boys basketball (2-21 overall) is in the books. The Wildcats opened their postseason run in the Class 2A District 12 bracket against the Pleasantville Trojans. The Trojans jumped out to an 18-5 first quarter lead and never looked back in a 64-38 victory. Junior Cole Arnburg topped West Central Valley’s scoring sheet with 14 points while sophomore Kaleb Badker added 12. The loss ends West Central Valley’s boy’s basketball season at two wins and 21 losses. The Wildcats lose Garrett Caltrider, Billy Larsen, and Brock Wolfe to graduation.
