Yesterday afternoon, the Rowley Masonic Community in Perry opened its doors to the public for an open house to introduce its three newest leaders.
Director of Nursing Kris Siefken joined on December 27th, Administrator Kate Klimesh started on January 22nd, and Activity Coordinator Mary Means started this past Tuesday. Klimesh said each of them was excited to officially meet the community and show some of the changes at Rowley. “I’ve been here for almost four weeks now as Administrator, and I wanted a chance to meet the community! I have met people here and there, and it’s been so friendly, and so welcoming. And I thought, ‘You know, we just need to open up Rowley and say hello to everybody once again.’ Rowley is an institution in the community, and I want to show that even though we may be new, we are dedicated and we are here to serve.”
Siefken said some of the changes people should be able to notice quickly is their improved teamwork, enhancements to the staff’s education to make them better caretakers, and an increased presence in the City of Perry. Means added, she’s looking forward to expanding their activities outside of Rowley, and also better notifying people when they have events planned.
