As we celebrate President’s Day today, there are also several offices and businesses that are closed in observance of the holiday.

The Greene County Courthouse, Greene County Extension office, Jefferson City Hall, Jefferson Public Library and the Jefferson Post office are all closed today.

Jefferson City staff reminds residents that due to the holiday today, garbage routes will be delayed one day. Garbage routes will go back to normal schedules the following week. Residents are reminded to have their garbage at the curbside by 6am to ensure pick up.
