The Greene County High School Girls’ Basketball team recently completed a humanitarian project in Iowa City. Some of the players went to the Ronald McDonald House, where they developed and prepared a meal for families on Saturday, February 17th. The players then stayed and helped prepare other meals for the week.

The team also presented the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital with a donation check for $1,003.12. The funds were raised through various activities and events throughout the basketball season.

The trip ended with a University of Iowa Women’s Basketball game against Wisconsin at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
