Last Monday marked the end of the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers boys basketball season (3-19 overall), and a junior guard finished the recent campaign as the squad’s leading scorer. Koby Hardcastle played in all 22 games this winter for the Tigers, pouring in a team-best 289 total points. Hardcastle’s points came on 92 field goal baskets, including 48 made three-pointers. He added 57 points from the free throw line in 82 attempts. Hardcastle’s season-high point total came in early December, pouring in 21 points in a 75-49 victory over the North Polk Comets. The ADM boys basketball season ended last Monday in the Class 3A Substate 8 tournament in Glenwood, falling to the Rams, 92-36. The Tigers finish the season with an overall record of 3-19 and will lose eight seniors to graduation.
