Only five Panorama Panther girls basketball players have scored more than 1,000 varsity points since the school transitioned to 5-on-5 basketball in the early 1990’s. Two of those athletes are on this year’s Panther squad in junior Bailey Beckman and senior Devyn Kemble with the pair reaching the milestone this winter within one week of one another. Beckman joined the 1,000 point club first back on January 26th during a 44-26 victory against Van Meter in Panora. She currently is Panorama’s leading scorer, tallying 430 total points this season. Kemble’s one thousandth career point came one week later on February 2nd during a 73-35 victory against the Ogden Bulldogs in Panora on senior night. She is the squad’s second-leading scorer with 339 total points.
